About this deal

Helen: I'd attach a strap to the handle to give you more confidence in the product given the pointers identified above, such as issues with steering and the difficulties when walking where there is a gradient on footpaths. We're really tempted to get it for travelling in our campervan where space is at a premium, but worried it won't go the distance on sand/grass/anything that's not a hard surface.

The Micralite ProFold comes with a roomy back pocket, fantastic for easily accessing your purse and keys.It pops up and collapses in one quick, easy movement, which makes life that little bit easier (watch my Instagram reel for a demo). Better than our Chicco Bravo which is being sold because it was the first we bought when we didn't know better, and we have a better full size one. The Micralite ProFold Compact stroller is a lightweight stroller with a super intuitive one-handed fold. Nathasha: The ProFold makes your life easier by making the compact stroller an actual everyday use stroller too.

Also, I don't love the loose fabric + pocket behind the seat, which is still loose when you collapse the stroller, until you play with it and the Velcro. The belly bar is situated in a way where you can put baby in without removing it, but it doesn't have a hinge. This is a buggy sure to turn heads in the high street this winter, as well as doing its bit for the environment. I started asking the attendant at the gate to put the tag on the handle (even though it's kind of hard to reach under the seat when the stroller is unfolded) to help make it more obvious where to grab it once it was folded. The ProFold comes fully assembled straight out of the box, ready to go apart from popping on the belly bar if needed. The Micralite Profold seems to fit the bill, but they don't seem very common so I'm hoping to hear from someone who has one whether you're happy with it? ProFold Graphite will come in grey melange fabrics, coordinating chest and harness pads as well as a cushioned vegan leather handle and bumper bar in tan. It’s a premium grade outdoor fabric that is as waterproof as you can get and with a UPF50 rating too so your little one is protected, cool and dry whatever the weather.

It’s the most compact model in the British-designed and engineered Micralite family, outstanding in its intuitive foldability. When we got our first pushchair for George – now almost 6 years ago – I didn’t think one-handed fold was an important feature in a stroller. One of my biggest bug bears with lightweight strollers is that they usually have small, flimsy hoods. Although her three-year-old walked alongside her when travelling up and down stairs, she was able to manage the buggy and a bag while holding her daughter’s hand.

Small enough to fit in any car boot or overhead train storage, the ProFold is within the cabin allowance for British Airways, Jet 2 and easyJet. But of-course sleeping in this stroller without straps on is only ok under close supervision, so not recommended. The four-wheel suspension and large back wheels aid its stability and give a smooth ride over a variety of terrain. At a mere 7kg, it’s an out-and-out travel option, touting itself as an approved airline carry-on (though check with your airline before flying).
