About this deal

Petroleum Distillates, Polyethylene, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Trihydroxystearin, Propylene Carbonate, Pentaerythrityl Hydrogenated Rosinate, Tall Oil Glycerides, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylparaben, Panthenol, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxides. My only qualm is that the thicker brush doesn't grasp onto my outermost lashes without a little handy work. The most noticeably different formula is the 24 Hr which seems to be made of house paint (I kid, it’s oil-based rather than water-based; very very longwearing, but does not claim to be waterproof). I first bought it on the recommendation of a friend with gorgeous, fluttery, thick eyelashes, after I asked her what she used, back in 2007. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .

The bristles are also the same flexible, grip-every-lash construction that you know and love from the original, but when you dip it into the mascara itself, that’s where things change. I happen to have all of CoverGirl’s LashBlast mascaras in my stash, so I thought I’d do an overview post to show the differences between them, and my preferences. As you can see, the tube is very minimalist in a soft seafoam green color that definitely drives home the “clean” angle they’re going for. It's a good, everyday mascara, that makes my lashes look thicker and longer, but doesn't do anything crazy. If you hate spiky plastic brushes, you might want to avoid this one, though I have found that since the spikes are short and not too sharp, I don't end up stabbing myself in the eye like I do with some others (Benefit They're Real, for instance). To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. With 10x the volume from bare lashes, there's no smudging or clumping - just long, full eyelashes that stay put all day! Lash Blast makes my eyelashes the best version of themselves: Noticeably longer, fuller, darker, and more defined, yet somehow natural-looking, like I was born with the most lush, fluttery lashes. The mouth has an inner ring which removes product off the bristles as it is being pulled out of the tube – the smaller the opening, the more product will be removed off the wand.

I'm not outside much these days, so I can't speak much to the effects of heat and humidity, but I didn't experience any noticeable flaking, and the curl held up for many hours. All of this to say, when I got the opportunity to try the new COVERGIRL Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara, I was 1) completely thrilled that the brand has become Leaping Bunny-certified cruelty-free and 2) really stoked that there was a clean mascara option for less than ten bucks.

I love waterproof mascaras since they're the only ones that seem to be able to hold a curl, but they can be drying and they're just annoying to remove. And while my looks graduated from thick, wet glitter sticks in seventh grade to the streamlined, natural approach I take now, the one thing that has been a constant—a non-negotiable, really—in my routine has always been mascara. From a normal viewing distance, it just looks like I have naturally decent lashes without any goop on them. Swipe on another coat or two of mascara to add more length and volume if desired, then marvel at your huge lashes! The shape seems to be a nod to the original COVERGIRL Lash Blast Volume Mascara—a chunky, easy to grip design that carries over well.

It doesn't make my eyelashes look like hers, but it did enhance both of our natural assets, as unequal as they are. COVERGIRL Lash Blast Active Mascara is the perfect solution for those who want standout lashes with a sweat-proof and smudge-proof mascara formula. Please also consult your physician for a complete list of indications, warnings, precautions, adverse events, clinical results, and other important medical information. This particular mascara is especially difficult to review, because there's nothing exactly remarkable about it, despite its being one of my favorite mascaras out there. Ingredients: Water, Glyceryl Stearate, Ammonium Acrylates Copolymer, Disteardimonium Hectorite,Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Triethanolamine,Acrylates Copolymer, Synthetic Wax, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Lecithin, Propylene Carbonate,Polyethylene, Oleic Acid, Alcohol Denat. At COVERGIRL, we’re Leaping Bunny approved cruelty free by Cruelty Free International, so you know our products are never tested on animals.

Both of them are great for not clumping, much like their younger sibling, Covergirl Clump Crusher by LashBlast ( reviewed here). The Full Lash Bloom differs from the other in that it contains Beeswax – I suppose this provides softer feeling lashes as claimed. You won’t find me scrubbing them loose with washcloths or wipes, I stick to oil-based removers and I treat them with castor oil regularly. The wand's comb-like bristles separate lash hairs as you apply, so there is minimal clumping and every precious lash is defined. Sweep on a few coats of mascara, using a side-to-side wiggling motion moving from roots to tips of lashes, then do the rest of makeup while you let the mascara dry.I usually can't get through two layers of mascara without major clumping taking place, so that's a huge plus. The waterproof, volume-boosting formula adds thickness and plumpness to your lashes for up to 10x more volume*. My favourite remains the original Volume for dramatic lashes, but Clump Crusher has also won my heart as a great everyday mascara.
