About this deal

Her job writing at Successful Saving magazine not only bores her to tears, it doesn’t pay much at all.

It’s a must-read book if you like a romantic comedy and I bet this book will entertain you from the first page to the last. I'm willing to forgive a lot in this book, but not the assumption that the only criteria of getting one's life back together after repeated financial purging of one's bank account and credit score is to be a good person. I thought this girl book would be fun, it would be like a new girl friend, getting to now good and bad about her, how she thinks about life.Used books have different signs of use and might not include supplemental materials such as CDs, Dvds, Access Codes, charts or any other extra material. If I ever read another review of a book like this on how "sad it was beneath the surface" all I have to say is how sad you are beneath the surface. I have written about this elsewhere in more detail, but the only aspect of our popular culture that runs strictly on merit is sports. After each failure, we watch her spend more money on things she doesn't need that leads her down a dark spiral of debt and self loathing. Then, unexpectedly, Becky is offered the chance to dress Sage’s archrival, and though things become a bit more complicated, it’s a dream come true!

There will always be a sexy, successful, intelligent, no-bullshit kind of guy who will find your stupidity and poor impulse control endearing. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Becky and her antics, and this latest offering doesn’t disappoint. Her private life is a different story though; Rebecca manages her own finances in a way that would make most of her readers' hair curl--for Rebecca is a woman on a mission--she just can't stop spending. Life is good, especially now that Becky takes time every day for mindfulness—even if that only means listening to a meditation tape while hunting down online bargains. Even though she is the master of a wrong decision, her point of view can trigger the reader to keep reading. Sophie’s latest novel, Surprise Me, published in February 2018, presents a humorous yet moving portrait of a marriage—its intricacies, comforts, and complications.

It is another substantial factor that contributes to the majority of the novel, with Suze, her best friend who supports her as much as possible even though Becky has a lot of problems. Kinsella adds a mystery and twists and turns at every corner in this latest work while maintaining Becky’s signature voice. I went on a reading spree with this series a few months ago, and I became seriously ADDICTED(I am not kidding, I read all eight books in two weeks). That is, until Luke announces he’s moving to New York for business—and he asks Becky to go with him! And they were taken on as the crappiest editorial assistant possible on no money whatsoever and were grateful.

Rebecca é viciada em compras, arranja estratagemas para fugir aos credores, não toma atenção a nada, muito sinceramente não sei como ela se consegue safar no trabalho. Anyways, this post is neither a book review nor a discussion, it’s more of me just talking and droning on! As she’s watching me, I feel forced to summon it up on my computer screen, just to show I’m willing. And they’ve stayed on writing about metal, or cheese, or savings, ever since – because that’s all they know.

I adjusted my expectations and thought it would be one of those rare instances where the movie is better than the book, but I loved them equally but in different ways! Fun and wittily told, I found myself rooting for Rebecca and wondering just how she was so blind to romance. Kinsella delivers a solid and laugh-out-loud funny installment that longtime readers and new fans alike will gleefully devour. I stare at the statement in puzzlement, wrinkling my brow and trying to think – and then suddenly, the truth dawns on me. Her crazy schemes to make extra money, like homemade potholders to sell but never following thru on is a page out of my life.I love the film based on the book and although the plots diverge quite early on (no Girl In The Green Scarf here), for me this made the story all the more charming for this reader.
