Okatsune 103 Bypass Secateurs
About this deal
We import and sell the full Japanese product and not the products made and packaged for the UK market. The blades of this Japanese pruner (Sentei Basami) are uniquely forged from the finest IZUMO YASUGI steel, and have a very high Rockwell hardness of 60. New tools won’t need sharpening for some time, but after a while you’ll notice them gradually lose their edge, especially if you’re box clipping (you need REALLY sharp blades to get a good finish with box). However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
Razor-sharp blades, forged from the finest Japanese steel, enable effortless cutting through branches up to 25mm in thickness. This steel is characterized by a high carbon content and is forged by Japan's top master blacksmiths using age-old techniques. With its length of 180 mm the Okatsune 101 are the most compact secateurs of the 3 models, and hereby particularly suitable for the small hand. The V-shape of the spring ensures that the cutting load is distributed evenly over the length of the spring which guarantees a smooth closing.
Okatsune, its affiliates, subsidiaries, importers, distributors, and dealers are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any fatality, injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of its products. The big chunky catch at the bottom has a crisp action that's easy to use, even with cold wet hands or muddy gloves.
